Resumo: The methods that are currently used in the reconstruction anterior cruciate ligament of the knee show a use of high technologies, which makes them very expensive. That high value to perform the surgeries ends invalidating their applications in the public health in developing countries. The methods interference screws used to perform bone graft fixation have a value of relatively lower for surgery of reconstruction, because the screws are cheaper compared with the other techniques. Thus, 22 trials were performed biomechanical, comparing two different methods of Femoral fixation for cruciate ligament reconstruction previous fixations were made both with screw interference. Porcine femurs were used and digital ligaments of the foot of cattle to simulate the quadruple graft human knee flexors. The first group of 11 samples was done by the technique Transtibial and showed values of 541.7 N for the and maximum load 93.7 N / mm for rigidity. The second group of 11 samples was done by the technical and Outside in showed values of 533 N and 86.4 N / mm for stiffness. There was no significant difference in the maximum loads in the two trials, but the technique Transtibial values were 10% higher for the stiffness compared with the technique Outside in.
