The forest road is the main modal used in Brazil to flow logs of the forest to the consumer market. The forest road transport drivers spend their workday in the same work environment - the cabin of the vehicle, and associated with poor roads, vehicles depreciated and the need to pay for productivity, makes the activity and psycho physiologically taxing. Under this assumption, the objective was to describle the profile of forest heavy road transport drivers and extra heavy road transport forest in order to verify their potential, based on the opinion of the same. The methodology used was the application of a structured questionnaire applied individually to 19 drivers of road transport forest. In general, workers were experienced with low education or illiterate. Work shifts that exert their functions are different shifts preferred. Besides the discomfort cited as problems with vision and hearing, it was found a large number of drivers who have suffered an accident, most of the overturning of the vehicle road transport forest. The biggest complaints cited were tiredness, pain, popping and tingling in the lower limbs. |
