Risk analysis is one of the main tools for preventing the occurrence of musculoskeletal diseases related to work. New methods of risk analysis should seek to be more agile and simplified, encouraging its wide application in the work environment and thereby encouraging actions. This study aimed to develop quick ways to assess the risk of developing musculoskeletal diseases in the upper limbs, using a thermographic camera to measure the variation in skin temperature. A workstation was built in a laboratory with environmental control, and five tasks were established, representing the risk levels defined by the OCRA Index. In this workstation 160 tests were carried out, with the participation of 32 volunteers, selected with inclusion and exclusion criteria defined in the literature published between 1998 and 2018. After the execution of the experiments, a significant change in the skin temperature was observed in the regions of interest of the shoulder and forearm in all risk levels performed, while the skin of the hand showed a significant temperature change only in the levels of risk orange, red and purple. The forearm showed the greatest correlation between the variation of the skin temperature and the intensity of the repetitive task, which led to the execution of linear and multiple regression analysis using as a basis the variation of the skin temperature of the forearm. Two tools have been proposed that allow a quick analysis of the risk level present in workplaces that contain repetitive efforts, and the proposed model that uses the variation of the forearm skin temperature and the air temperature showed r = 0,746 and R² = 0,557. |
