Resumo: OBJECTIVE: To analyze the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on lifestyle in the population affected by the rules of social distance.METHODS: This is an observational and descriptive study. Data collection occurred in a non-probabilistic, global, random and voluntary way through the application of the Google Forms form for  internet, which was prepared in three languages with questions regarding age, sex, country of origin and time of social distance; questions on lifestyle assessment were structured according to the FANTASTIC questionnaire. The statistical analyzes used were the Chi-square, Shapiro-Wilk, non-paired t-test, Mann-Whitney, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis and Bonferroni post-hoc tests. For all analyzes, p ≤0.05 was assumed.RESULTS: Of the total of 475 people who answered the questionnaire, 65.89% (313) were socially distant. Most volunteers were in the “Very Good” category, and the Activity, Nutrition, Type of behavior, Insight and Career domains had the lowest average values in the groups, which negatively impacted the classification of the categories.CONCLUSIONS: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lifestyle of the population, requiring strategic measures of adoption and awareness in the different aspects that make up a better lifestyle, thus avoiding negative future consequences on physical health and emotional health of the post-pandemic population.
