OBJECTIVE: Identifying and categorizing the actors involved in the Brazilian academic production on Quality of Life at Work in the Industrial Engineering field, based on the proceedings of Encontro Nacional de Engenharia de Produção (ENEGEP) and Simpósio de Engenharia de Produção (SIMPEP) in the period 2010-2019.METHODS: We used bibliometry as a procedure because it is a quantitative and statistical technique used to measure and monitor production indexes, knowledge dissemination, scientific areas development, and standards of authorship, publication, and study results.RESULTS: The analysis revealed that 83 papers focused on the study of Quality of Life at Work. Of this total, 59 were published in ENEGEP and 24 in SIMPEP. It was found that 231 researchers and 48 institutions from all regions of Brazil published research on the subject at the conferences. The South, Southeast, and Northeast regions concentrate the research developed on the subject. The Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR) is the most productive among the institutions. Categorizing the researchers by their publishing behavior, we verify that 87.88% are one-timers, 4.76% into the terminators, 3.46% are newcomers and transients, and 0.43% are continuants. Studies are still heavily concentrated in the university sector.CONCLUSIONS: The scientific production about Quality of Life at Work has a significant space in Production Engineering. In relation to the application of the Quality of Work Life evaluation, Walton's model is the most used.
