Resumo: This paper aims to identify factors considered important in the process of implementing the Social Technology. Five groups of factors were raised by the theory, these being: structural, procedural, financial, human and social. Therefore a descriptive survey was developed, by employing the strategy of field research with a quantitative approach and questionnaire data collection instrument directly to a total of 85 responsible for several projects Social Technology. Among the results stand out: structural factors category: team work and partnership; procedural factors: organization, process and team communication; financial factors: budget and cost and benefit; human factors: interest and initiative and involvement; factors social: team spirit and appreciation of local knowledge. Still, comparing the degree of importance among the categories of factors were identified: human and social as more relevant than the other.
