It is evident that, over the editions of Social Technology Award was a considerable increase in the number of projects with involvement of Municipal Public Agencies , however , it is still a small number, a potential still little explored , only 25 projects which appear as responsible bidder or a Municipal Public Authority were identified. Among the results can be noted that ally's concern with education, the need for income generation, environment and health are the issues that most attracted the attention of local public agencies with Social Technologies. O presente artigo visa apresentar os resultados de um estudo que teve como objetivo geral analisar o envolvimento dos Órgãos Públicos Municipais junto aos projetos de Tecnologia Social. Para tanto foi realizada uma pesquisa de caráter descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa, junto a uma amostra de 146 projetos de Tecnologia Social, por meio de análise documental. Evidencia-se que, ao longo das três últimas edições do prêmio de Tecnologia Social houve um aumento considerável no número de projetos com envolvimento dos Órgãos Públicos Municipais, no entanto, ainda trata-se de um número reduzido, ou seja, um potencial, ainda, pouco explorado, tendo sido identificados apenas 25 projetos onde figure como proponente ou responsável um Órgão Público Municipal. Ainda, entre os resultados obtidos pode-se destacar que aliado a preocupação com a educação, a necessidade de geração de renda, meio ambiente e saúde são as temáticas que mais despertaram a atenção dos órgãos públicos municipais para com as Tecnologias Sociais.
