Technology parks are important enterprises that drive the development of innovativeactivities. Therefore, the objective of this study was to verify the development of thetechnological production of the Brazilian technological parks. The methodology consistedof an analysis of the data of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, and of thepatent deposits of the National Institute of Industrial Property. As a result, it was foundthat there are a large number of parks, but only 28 are in operation. The documentarydata of the MCTI show that the parks that most register patents received funds from theNational Program to Support Technological Parks and Business Incubators. Patent data isfrom companies graduating in technology parks that have won several innovation-relatedawards as an example, showing 11 depots from 2007 to 2016 and the main subclasses ofthe patents are A61B (diagnosis, surgery and identification), A61K (preparations forpurposes and A61Q (cosmetic use). |
