The exploitation of groundwater in these aquifers is conditioned to the fracture density of the crystalline rocks, as in the case of Agreste Sergipano. The objective of the present work was to identify areas suitable for the storage of groundwater through geological alignment spatialization to define the potential for groundwater accumulation in the fractured aquifers of Agreste Sergipano. The relief and drainage geological alignments were extracted in the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and in the drainage network of the study area basins; and the consecutive spatialization of the densities of these alignments by the kernel interpolator. The application of this interpolator allowed the spatialization of five classes of lineation density, indicating the greater or less potential of underground water storage in the fractured aquifers of the watersheds in the Sergipe Agreste. It was concluded that the hydrographic basins of the Japaratuba, Sergipe and Vaza Barris rivers presented the greatest hydrogeological potentialities than the basins of the Piauí, Real and São Francisco rivers in the crystalline terrains of the study area.
