The development of technology in the field of agricultural implements in Brazil has always focused on large producers, not evolving in the same proportions to attend family farming. For this small farmer, large tractors are very costly and inefficient. On the other hand, the motorcultivator aims to carry out small-scale rural work and today most of it is supplied by non-renewable energies in an internal combustion engine. This process has a very low efficiency, and most of the energy is wasted and not converted into work. An alternative is the replacement by an electric motorization. The energy that feeds this system can be supplied by the power distribution company, or through distributed generation. The design of the constituent parts of the electric implement was evaluated and specified, and then the prototype was constructed using a gearmotor connected to an inverter and the energy analyzer, as well as the structure that supports the entire system. Subsequently, the experimental methods that enabled the comparison between the two cultivators were defined. After the experiments, it was possible to collect sufficient data for the effective comparison of the specific consumption, verifying a 33 times reduction in consumption for the operation of the developed electric motorcultivator in relation to the motorcultivator with internal combustion. And also other advantages of operation cost, ergonomics and environmental impact. |
