Resumo: This work presents a study of the performance ratio of grid-connected photovoltaic systems operating in different conditions of tilt and azimuthal deviation in different regions of the state of Paraná. It presents the solar photovoltaic energy and its application, the operation of a grid-connected photovoltaic system, the ideal conditions for the operation, performance parameters, power loss factors, make a comparison between Paraná’s and Europe’s irradiance levels and identifies the mesoregions of state of Paraná . Through simulations, it shows the effects of the variation of solar panel’s tilt and orientation on performance ratio. For comparison the obtained data was normalized and disposed in a heat map for visual analysis. The results of this research shows that, both performance ratio and energy production of grid-connected photovoltaic system are dependent on factors such as irradiation, temperature and wind speed, and others. In general the best performance ratio were in the cities of Inácio Martins and Curitiba, while the maximum values of energy production were obtained in the cities of Icaraíma and Nova Fátima.
