This work analyzes aspects from both conventional substations and substations that use SF6 gas insulation technology, in case of construction and electrical equipments such as transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, surge-arresters, among others. In addition to pointing out the main differences found, it highlights important aspects such as substation implementation area, socio-environmental and technical aspects. With all the data collected and the general costs involved, an analysis is made about the advantages and disadvantages between the two types of substations in order to serve as an aid to decision making about what type of substation to implant. |
