Resumo: This project is based on a research and design of an independent charging station for electric vehicles (EV). Futhermore, the station will not be connected at the power grid. The power supplied to the station will be provided by photovoltaic panels. The system will be composed of a battery bank and two DC-DC converters: an hybrid-boost and an isolated half-bridge. Those converters will be used to keep constant the voltage on the power buses of the system. The control of the converters will be performed by a microprocessor, which will trigger the gates switches with a PWM signal. The main objective of this project will be given to the converters. Hence, the design and simulation of the prototype in power reduced scale will be presented for academic evaluation purpose.
