Resumo: This present paper discusses the development of a wireless sensor network to monitor environments. For this, there were certain conditions to use a wireless network as a low complexity, efficiency and flexibility. It also approaches the structuring of a software to view the results obtained by monitoring network. From this premise, it will be seen in this work different wireless technologies and compared with the ZigBee networks, to emphasize their choice. Then shows the network topology chosen for this project, as well as the use of Microsoft Visual Studio and the C programming language C# as an alternative to software implementation. Also, it shows the choice of temperature and humidity sensors DHT11 for practical monitoring of this generic network. The network architecture includes the use of a database and a Tiva Launchpad Series C to coordinate this network, as well as Wireless module CC2530 to communicate between nodes using ZigBee technology
