In this work, a DC motor with permanent magnets is analyzed through magnetic field analysis. The constructive aspects and phenomena present in the machine are explained in detail before the analysis. This analysis is based on an existing motor in which all measurements and features were collected. The study is performed through the analysis of the results obtained using a computational program based on the Finite Element Method, applied in magnitudes such as: magnetic flux intensity, magnetic flux density and torque. Comparative numerical results are presented for the existing machine with changes in the air gap size and the exchange of magnets that prove the compaction of motors using materials and production techniques of better quality. |
