Resumo: The present work presents a study regarding the technical analysis of the effectiveness of the implantation of a pumping system for accumulation of energy from solar sources. During the development of the study are exposed concepts about the use of solar photovoltaic systems for electricity generation and some possible topologies for this type of system. Throughout the work are also exposed different models of pumps and hydraulic turbines, electric machines. The focus is on its principle of operation and the best application use together with photovoltaic systems. In practical terms, a prototype was built capable of pumping a certain volume of water and then generating electricity through the water flow in the turbine of a direct current generator. Several measurements were made for the system and voltage and current values were compared for both pumping and generation. The results showed a low yield, and an alternative presented during the work was the use of the matrix with Halbach magnets to potentiate the magnetic field of the generator and raise the efficiency of the system.
