Resumo: This paper’s main objective is to present the development of a residential electric power monitoring system. Besides that, analyze the system’s importance to the user’s fitting into the “white tariff”. To achieve that, a microcontroller ESP32 is used, which through a program made in C language, allows communication between the microcontroller, the current and voltage sensors and the internet. Finally, it develops a software in PHP programming language to register all data in a MySQL database, presenting obtained results in a visual manner, made easy for the user to understand, making it possible for them to decide the best electric tariff to adhere.
