On September 27, 2010 the prefecture of Bocaiuva do Sul and Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná signed an Agreement Contract which provided the creation of an Environmental Education Center in the city, including the implementation of a micro plant for electric power generation. Since then, some final course assignments have been carried out on the basis of this micro plant, such as the study of turbines (MERIGUE, 2011), flow measurement (REIS, 2011) and implementation project (POLLI, 2015). This paper aims to clarify the process for obtaining the environmental licensing of the Roncador Micro Hydroelectric Plant, which has been disabled since 1959. In order to carry out this study, the licensing process of small hydropower plants in accordance with Brazilian legislation were analyzed, as well as the laws in force in the state of Parana and the documentation required by the agencies responsible for issuing licenses. After conducting this research, which has a descriptive, documentary and bibliographic character, a flowchart was elaborated in order to facilitate the understanding of the steps for the environmental licensing of the MHP Roncador. |
