The present final paper refers to the construction of a prototype of solar tracker for photovoltaic panels acting in two axes. From the observation of fixed panels, there is a realization that the solar radiation, when received in perpendicular form, has maximum theoretical efficiency. In order to do so, the theoretical framework was used to find the equations that were used and a programming was created. Two Arduinos (Uno and Mega) were used for receiving and manipulating the data. The location, date and time data were received from a GPS module and manipulated according to equations for the routine operation of two step motors. For data recording and subsequent analysis, an SD module was used. However, despite the perfect functionality of the prototype, there is inefficiency due low power generation. |
