Resumo: This work consists on a research on high fidelity audios and if its technical properties are perceived qualitatively. Audios in standard quality were recorded, 48 kHz for sampling frequency and 16 bits for quantization, and those same audios with 192 kHz for sampling frequency and 24 bits for quantization. Two analyzes were performed, the first using software comparing the mathematical differences of the signal, where differences were found in the order of 0.0017% power. the second was performed using discriminative test, and applying the chi-square distribution in the test results, was possible to conclude that the null hypothesis was not rejected, concluding that there is no significant difference in auditory perception.
