In this research, our focus was on presenting the validation of a control and monitoration system installed in a new production line compared to one that does not use this system through quality analysis and welding efficiency on an agricultural equipment company, based on MIG/MAG welding process. For the process, welding of input parameters were defined as wire feed speed and voltage (tension) within the limits recommended by the company, helding eight welding of three components of the product and raised the data used in the analysis. Photographs were taken for visual analysis of the welding cord and raised the wire and energy consumption data of the two production lines. As result, an improvement can be observed in the quality of the cords and a slight economy in the power consumption. The wire on the other hand had no major variation. Through these analyzes, the installation of the process monitoring system was justified. |
