The Energy supplies are increasingly scarce and, therefore, looking for alternative methods for electricity generating. there view of the growing demand for new sources of energy generation and depletion of fossil energy resources. Stirling engines are an alternative to this possible problem worldwide because they can use existing energy sources such as solar or geothermal energy. In this context is lowpolluting, emits no exhaust gases and because harnesses renewable energy as a way to fuel. The objective of this work is the manufacture and the engine running study for a Stirling type gamma. A study of the Stirling cycle is performed according to Schmidt's theorem to obtain the dimensions of the components and the output power. Lastly is performed to manufacture and test the operation with the collection of experimental data such as temperature, speed, power depending on the temperature and phase angle. Despite the limitations of the theorem, considering the gas as ideal, the Schmidt analysis was adequate for the design and operation of the mechanical design. The mechanical design using manufacturing techniques, together with the operation study enhance understanding and facilitate further studies of Stirling engines. |
