The project’s goal was to develop a new Information Flow’s Framework for Control System’s Quality Surveillance in Aker Solutions, aiming to decrease delays in items delivery, which promotes a reduction of costs and production stops. Consequently, increases the company competitiveness. The initial part of the project characterizes the problem of delays in deliveries of item from Aker’s. General and specifics goal are presented to clarify the study’s goal. The justification for the work involves meetings with employees, as well as a preliminary study which reaffirms the problems encountered. The Pragmatic approach with data collection and analysisthrough multiple sources of evidence was chosen for that in the second stage of the Framework Propose. Finally, in this first stage, the main products and the relevant procedures of the company are described. In the second part, a survey is presented, and, based on the answers of this survey and on the internal procedures studies, it became possible to verify that there are gaps in the Information Flow of documentation, both between department and between Aker and its suppliers. Having founded the premises of work, it was possible to propose a new Framework of information flow in Quality Surveillance Control Systems in Aker Solutions. This Framework is supported by several documentation manuals also created by the author of the work. |
