Demand for quality and low-cost products promotes a competitive advantage for companies. For this reason, an application of techniques that increase the efficiency of the processes without harming the quality of the product are highly desired. One of the tools that can be applied to achieve this goal is the quick changeover, which, in addition to reducing the time required for setup operations, allows the production of small batches, causes inventory reduction, and also increases the flexibility of a productive line. This paper studied which are the most relevant authors on this topic, which are the techniques most used today and the returns evidenced. It was identified by this work, among other conclusions, that the most used techniques are the optimization of machine fixation, optimization of operations and the parallel operations. |
