Weed cause loss of productivity in diferent harvest, practicaly throughout all year, in addition, they are secondary hosts for pests and illnesses. Sticking to these concepts, the purpose of this study is to make a weed population survey at the experimental farm of UTFPR – Dois Vizinhos Campus, in different areas in different times of the year. The areas are: Garden, Anual Harvest, Grazing and Fruit Growing, besides the urban areas of coexistence of the campus. To define the weed’s population dynamics, it was undertaken the inventory square method, identifying the weed species and counting the individual number per species. Through the survey, it was calculated the frequency, density, abundance, relative frequency, relative density, relative abundance and importance value index of the species. Along with the field research, samples were collected to verify the soil seed bank. The experiment was done in trays with four replicates, in the greenhouse to verify the seeds of species that were in dormant state. From the experience obtained through this study, concludes that to each place there must be done a different planning, with qualified techniques to each harvest system, in other words, the same control to the anual harvest does not work for fruit growing, and the fruit growing to another location, because the population dynamics is not the same in the areas, in addition, the methods that might be placed in a place, probably does not adapt totally with another. |
