This paper presents the procedures for research, development and validation of the software ABC do bem, which is a support system in the literacy of students with intellectual disabilities. From the researches and visits to the intuitions of special education, it was possible to observe the teaching methods already used in classrooms and to raise the necessary requirements for the implementation of the new software. It was also observed that the application of digital media presents advantages such as greater attractiveness and interaction on the part of the students, as well as more resources available to assist the teachers in their literacy activities. The results obtained through the validation show that this software is a useful didactic tool and of great importance for the help of teachers and students. |
