The Software requirements analysis process seeks to understand the needs and expects of every stakeholder in the software development process. However, the difficulties on the process execution impacts negatively on the development and solution delivery. The integration of prototyping techniques to a real context of a software developer company seeks to contribute to requirements validation supporting the development and the delivery of functionalities that attends the real needs of the users. Through a survey application, real problems were identified in software developer companies of the Parana south-west region, which impacts on the developed and maintained products of those companies. After, case studies were applied, integrating prototyping techniques to requirements validation with the stakeholders. The results showed that the using of prototyping has contributed to obtain suggestions of modifications earlier, resulting on the development of more assertive functionalities that attends the real needs of the users. Besides, the using of prototyping turned the forwarded requirements more reliable to the developing team, avoiding re-work in some cases. |
