Resumo: The Brazilian Forest Code has among its objectives the conservation of forests and biodiversity protection. Despite the positive effect of this, biodiversity began to be threatened by other factors, not man-made, but environmental, as the invasion of exotic species in natural environments, which over time resulted in huge losses both economic and environmental to the planet. In Brazil, among the numerous forest invasive species can highlight Hovenia dulcis Thunb. (blueberry japan) as a problem when it occurs in natural areas because the taxon produces chemical changes in the soil (allelopathy) and changes in forest dynamics. Despite the invasive potential of the species and the damage caused when it is within a Legal Reserve or Permanent Preservation Areas, if the management is carried out, can reverse the scenario, because its wood is highly valued in the furniture industry. So, make the extraction of Blueberry japan Legal Reserve in the small property, which is supported by the Brazilian Forest Code, may be an alternative to the producer to obtain extra income, in addition to being removing an invasive alien species and that providing conditions for the development of native species. Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the impact on the extraction of Hovenia dulcis in a legal reserve in the municipality of Dois Vizinhos - Paraná, to survey the costs involved in the extraction of the species, and conduct a survey and market analysis Wood Hovenia dulcis in three cities compared to Eucalyptus spp. and Pinnus spp, stop it can perform the analysis of the feasibility of extraction Blueberry japan. The study was conducted in an area of Legal Reserve Federal Technological University of Paraná, municipality of Dois Vizinhos. A total of 10 individuals of the species Hovenia dulcis, with DAP> 20 cm, which were near trail exploration. Later these individuals were killed and performed assessment of the impact arising from the harvest. These same individuals was performed cubed. In addition we performed market research in the city of Dois Vizinhos - PR, Realeza - PR and São José do Cedro - SC. The market investigation has shown that blueberry japan is little used by industries Two neighbors, yet the price of m³ is similar to pine and eucalyptus. The economic analysis pointed to a profit of R $ 95.25 ∙ m-3 harvested. The impact to the remaining vegetation was inevitable, but becomes acceptable once the harvest is a measure of control of an alien species and invasive.
