Geoprocessing is a part of the knowledge’s area identified as geomatics. It incorporates the full set of techniques related to spatial information, since its collection, storage, processing and analysis until the integrated use of these geographical data. This set of techniques, also known as geotechnology, correspond to segments used in geoprocessing. Geotechnologies such as mapping, GIS, and GPS, associated through the geoprocessing, in helping to generate Digital Terrain Model (DTM), represent an important tool for planning and management of it. Therefore, the present work aims to generate a Terrain Digital Model (DTM) in the whole area of the of the UTFPR – Dois Vizinhos campus, from the digitization of topographic IBGE map 1: 50,000 scale, collection of geodesic points in the field using topographic and geodetic GPS, GPS Processing of geodesic points, and manipulation of data collected in GIS. |
