Solanum mauritianum Scop., popularly known as smoke-Barnes, has great importance for the recovery of degraded areas and the restoration of riparian forests and is considered a pioneer of fast-growing species, which produces large amount of fruits for fauna, burlap and shading. In this sense, the present study aimed to evaluate the phenology and floral behaviour of S. mauritianum in area of forest restoration. Were accompanied by 12 trees distributed arrays in four installment. The individuals were monitored every two weeks with the aid of binocular for analysis for the presence of foliar change, flowering and fruiting. In order to determine the anthesis floral and floral visitors was monitored 50 floral buttons in pré-antese from 10 inflorescences of a single individual. The branches were selected and observed during three days of 05 to 7 pm, being accompanied its cycle until the floral senescence watching the opening and closing of flowers and the presence of floral visitors. S. mauritinaum presented bloom from January to December, being possible to find flower buds, concurrently with developing and ripe fruits, which initiate the dispersion in the month of February, and can be collected in large period (January to March) when the occurrence of frost. The availability of flowers and fruits of form continuous makes S. mauritianum a species of high ecological potential for use in forest restoration projects. The Anthesis lasted 21 the 10 pm, starting the opening, around 7 and closing between 17 and 19 h. After the period of 21 to 10 pm the flowers started to get the senescence, perceived by a change of coloration (purple to pink) and wilting of the petals. The insect fauna observed consisted mostly of bees (Apidae, and Apinae, V.), flies (Syrphidae, Calliphoridae, among others), wasps (Vespidae and spider WaSP), kitties (Chrysomelidae) and bedbugs (Pentatomidae and Coreidae, Tingidae). S. mauritianum presented phenological behavior satisfactory in area of forest restoration of the Atlantic forest in the southwest of Paraná, showing its proper growth and development. 2020-11-13T12:23:23Z 2020-11-13T12:23:23Z 2015-11-26 bachelorThesis LUBKE, Marcos.
