Resumo: The present work has the objective of analyzing the distribution of the arboreal individuals, from the administrative headquarters of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - Câmpus Dois Vizinhos, through Geoprocessing tools. In order to determine the location of the trees found in the Campus, control points were implemented, which had their coordinates determined by means of a survey carried out with geodetic GPS receivers. After the determination of the position of these points, the transport of coordinates was carried out. A total station was used for this purpose and the techniques of open polygenesis and irradiation were applied. The coordinates of the control points, as well as the observations made in the field, were able to calculate the coordinates of the individuals in the POSITION program. Subsequently, they were exported and it was possible to make the storage, manipulation and analysis of the data in a GIS environment. To determine which species were found in Campus, vegetative material was collected from the trees and field identification was made. It was determined the location and identification of 599 arboreal individuals, being composed of 33 families and 77 species. The acquisition of the data represented the reality of afforestation in the institution and that through a GIS, will facilitate the management of this afforestation, making possible that new work will emerge from this study.
