Resumo: Identifying the spatial pattern of forest species is fundamental to access the ecological processes of a tree community, as well as to define the levels of competitiveness among species and their form of seed dispersal, directly influencing their pattern. The objective of this work was to analyze the spatial distribution of individuals in the forest remnant of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), Dois Vizinhos campus, in an area under secondary succession. Data on breast height (DBH) and geographic coordinates of all tree individuals with DBH ≥ 5 cm were collected. The coordinates of the species of greatest abundance, taking into account the absolute density, were integrated into a GIS program and the spatial pattern was analyzed through the Ripley K function in its univariate form through the RStudio statistical program. A database was generated that generated thematic maps of each of the five species analyzed, which together with the graphs generated by the statistical program, reached three spatial patterns, being Luehea divaricata Mart .; Tilioideae and the Hovenia dulcis Thunb defined by random aggregation pattern, the Anadenanthera colubrina (Benth.) Brenan with a totally random pattern, and Nectandra lanceolata Nees and Lonchocarpus muehlbergianus Hassl with a fully aggregated pattern.
