Resumo: This work is justified by the lack of studies specific to the local conditions, as well as seeking to diagnose the changes caused in soil chemical characteristics by use systems deployed in the region. Also check the hypothesis that there is an inverse relationship between the intensity of use of a soil, either by culture or imposed by the handling technique applied with a good quality. The experiment was conducted in areas within the Campus UTFPR in the town of Dois Vizinhos. The experimental design was completely randomized block design with three replications in a split plot considering the depth subfactor as four sample points per plot. Treatments were busy areas with different land use systems. The four areas were: Euc. 3 years (3 years with eucalyptus) area with the hybrid Eucalyptus grandis x urophylla; Euc. 10 years (10 years with eucalyptus) Eucalyptus urophylla area; Annual crops and native forest. Soil samples were collected at 0-5, 5-10, 10-20, 20-40 and 40-60 cm. The sampling resulted in 15 samples in each use area, totaling 60 soil samples in all. Samples were analyzed for basic chemical analysis of soils. For all use systems, nutrients and soil chemical properties showed statistically higher values in the superficial layers (up to 10 cm). The areas of native forest and Eucalyptus 10 years had an average higher values of nutrients and soil attributes. The system of land use with the eucalyptus plantation showed similar results to those found in the system use with the Native Forest.
