Resumo: Fruit trees such as Eugenia involucrata is still unexplored, necessitating technical information that encourages farmers to use them. propagation method used is by seed, but it have limitation when storage. The aim of this work was to evaluate the hydropriming and storage techniques (vacuum and biofilm) in E. involucrata seeds. The study was carried out at Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - Câmpus Dois Vizinhos, Paraná State, Brazil. The experimental design was randomized blocks, in the factorial 2 × 4 × 2 (hydropriming x storage technical x storage time), with 4 replications of 100 seeds per plot. The extracted seeds were separated into two groups, it being for use of the hydropriming in distilled water during 24 hours and the other not. Seeds these two groups were submitted to four storage techniques as vacuum packaging, biofilm seed coating of cassava starch (3% w / v), vacuum + biofilm cassava starch and no treatment (control). Then the seeds were kept in cold room storage at 5ºC for 5 and 30 days. After 110 days the sowed, the emergence percentage, speed index emergence and total dry weight of plantlets we evaluated. For E. involucrata seeds storage must be used the vaccum technical, with or not biofilm coating.
