The southwestern Paraná consists mostly of small farms (30 ha), where the main activity is cattle raising and cultivation of annual plants, but in some areas is not feasible cultivation of these, due to steep slopes and soils poorly structured. Possibly the cultivation of pine may prove to be a good investment option for farmers in order to better exploit the area and diversify production. But it is usually not the case, due to lack of technical and economic information or bad experiences caused by improper management of the species, many farmers choose not to risk this activity. Another frequently reported reason is the financial return in the long term in forestry. Therefore, this study is of great importance, because from the economic analysis of a pine plantation for pulp production, with practical and necessary care due, will clarify especially for small farmers and other landowners how this activity may be feasible by increasing the income, still searching for a future financial stability, providing a better quality of life for families, also contributing to keeping people in the field and also provide a new vision towards the forest sector. The aim of this work is to make the economic analysis of a pine plantation for pulp production. The surveyed data are related to the actual values used in the southwestern region of Paraná, as well as costs for each activity to be performed, raised through contact with industry professionals as technicians, vendors and consultants also, teachers and employees in general. So was raised all costs of this activity, the final amount analyzing all items of the deployment phase of the investment is now worth $ 3,298.00/ha maintenance phase R 789.00/ha. Was considered clearcutting the stand will be the end of 12 years after planting, thus generating a unique recipe for investment. Indicative were calculated, the VPL total of £ 7551.28 / ha, an IRR of 18.09%. The ratio B / C of 2.87 one CMP 18.78 R $ / m3 and an EVP 1002.00 £ / ha / year. Conclude that forestry is a good option, despite being an investment return over the long term. |
