Insects represent the largest and most diverse class of animals in existence, doing them fundamental to the balance of the environment. The study of insects, ie Entomology, is relevant to humans, since there are numerous interactions between humans and insects. Thus, seeking a didactic material to expose the characteristics and specificities of this class, as well as facilitate the classes for teachers, professors and students, the objective was to create a didactic and interactive site for the teaching of Entomology. For this, the project was divided into five stages of creation: 1- Menu / major themes of the site, 2- Platform, 3- Structuring of the site and content, 4- Elaboration of Interactive Keys, 5- Availability of the site. For the development and creation of the site content were used several renowned bibliographical references in the entomology area and recent articles that bring updated information on research in this area. The maintenance of the site has been constant, with revisions of bibliographic material present mainly in SciELO Scientific Electronic Library Online and Capes Periodicals databases, as well as in other databases or possible new literature, besides to be constantly updated and improved, always seeking to expose updated and correct information on the subject. Today, the website has an Interactive key about Insecta (adult) class and a story for each of these orders. Moreover, in this website has a larva identification key, an introductory class story, and contact information for the website manager page. Therefore, ECDISE website is publicly accessible at the link: <https://ecdise.wixsite.com/ecdise> seeking to meet expectations and meet all user needs. |
