The study of human anatomy is essential for a thorough understanding of the development and structure of the human body, therefore the use of body is essential to the effective learning of anatomy, because the body is not an end but a means by which the student can have a three-dimensional view of the structures of the body, feel the textures of different organs, make observations, among other important things. Obtaining bodies for a long time was done through the acquisition of unclaimed bodies. As this number has been decreasing, it is noted the importancy of voluntary bodies donation, which can be done through a body donation program which is a means of disseminate and also more effectively obtain donations. The project aimed to the establishment of a body donation program on campus Dois Vizinhos of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR).The installation of the body donation program was consolidated through three stages. The first step resulted in bureaucratic and legal referrals to implement the bodies donation program. In the second stage, informational and educational materials were developed in printed and electronic format to inform and publicize the program, and the implementation of the program through a website and finally, the third and final stage was at the beginning of the outreach activities of the program and the management of the program channels of communication with the population. The results obtained complied with legal and ethical requirements, and after that the necessary documentation of bureaucratic procedures were resolved. Afterwards, the body donation program was implemented, and its website is hosted as part of the institutional site of UTFPR-DV. After creating the site it was developed educational and informational materials for print publication, and with these materials, perform continuous information and education campaigns on voluntary donation of bodies and the disclosure of the operation of the campus Dois Vizinhos body donation program. The last stage of our project was the beginning of the program management, which occurred with the beginning of disclosures and specification of communication channels as well as the training of the campus servers so that they can correctly answer questions of potential donors. We must consider that between the formalization of the donation intention and the effective body donation may pass several years, we know that this project will develop for a long time after its implementation. However, we believe that with the increase of bodies willingly donated, the university can maintain the quality of anatomy teaching and thus form more qualified professionals. |
