This project aims to provide a dialogue between scientific and popular knowledge about medicinal plants at a state school in the Southwest Paraná. Will be used methodology and practical strategy for an understanding of the botany of medicinal plants. Scientific knowledge will be articulated with popular/traditional knowledge cultivated from generation to generation in homes. As a teaching tool, a medical garden will be built to help in class. The project will be developed through a didactic sequence, divided into weekly meetings through different modules. The modules will contemplate approaches on: the relationship of people with plants from prehistory to the present, phytotherapeutic properties, cultivation, collection, storage, toxicity, in addition to reconciling different knowledge. All methodology will be guided by a qualitative research. Data collection will be performed by photographs, field diary, significant speeches. Given this, the school is the main mediator of knowledge, having as its role, assisting in citizen training, preserving and conserving the vast biodiversity and local culture. Thus, the intentionality between the students' relationship with the plants in their daily life was analyzed. |
