This study aimed to gather indicators and the management style of the producers of the Southwest of Paraná in different production systems. The study was conducted between January to April 2014, considered 23 units which has as main activity the rural production. To research a predefined questionnaire was used, the respondent answered orally by clarification when required. In the study three áreas of activity with relatively strong proportions in the Southwest region of Paraná were identified, namely: soybean, corn and production of bovine milk. The total área of the 23 research units is 1408.38 there, being used to milk 47% and 47% for tillage. Of respondents it was found that only 8 had a turnover / there / month equal to or above R $ 400.00, 86% of respondents showed the age of 40 years or more; 61% of producers conduct the planning activity, however, they do not perform a calculation of losses and waste in which this practice can be of great importance in making decisions in today's competitive market. And that all respondents are aimed at long-term stay in their properties. |
