The dairy cattle is developed in almost all countries of the world, with management practices, nutrition, genetic material and different production in each country. The main mode of transmission of genetic material quality found in countries that have larger herd productivity and a higher genetic quality of herd is through the use of artificial insemination with semen collected from genetically proven bulls to transmit desirable production traits in his progeny, improving herd productivity using this reproductive technique. The study was conducted with objective to evaluate the use of Artificial Insemination in Dairy Cattle in properties located in the micro region of Dois Vizinhos PR, through a questionnaire. For this, we collected data involving technical aspects and handling, separating the units research into two groups. The first group with 20 animals and the second group over 21 lactating animals. In the analysis, the results obtained from the use of Artificial Insemination, it proved to be efficient to improve herd productivity, provide a racial pattern and higher genetic. |
