The objective this work was to study the effects of the different types land cover (land, tile, and tarp) trench silo about the nutritional value and quality of the corn silage whole plant. The research was conducted in the experimental area of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, Campus Dois Vizinhos The material was stored when this was between 32% to 37% of the dry matter, while referring to texture grain. They were produced in two trench silos, and the opening was realized with two types of the material in each half of the silo lengthwise and demarcated four points of the collected in two silos, and the collects were realized when it was stored arrived for making. The samples were collected in the stratum the front profile: upper, middle and lower for each treatment (land, tile, and tarp, in the four points of the collect, checking the temperature this material, pH and other bromatological analysis. The experiment was realized in randomized design, with four repetitions in two factorial scheme 3x3. The data was pass through for analysis of variance after through Tukey test. The nutrient constituents don’t change a long to profile the silo due at change of the covering. The covering that overall presented, the better results in the characterizes studied was the tile, because it had good values of the dry matter without any significant losses, getting standard of the temperature stable and crude protein upper to land covering. The covering that presented better losses due deterioration was the tarp and the treatment with land presented least losses. |
