To evaluate the performance and egg quality of Japanese quail, supplemented with probiotic diet fed to birds, being divided into two treatments T1 (without probiotic) and T2 (probiotic). 190 birds were used, divided into 12 replicates for each treatment, the birds were placed in cages with 8 birds. At the end of each 28-day cycle was evaluated feed conversion per dozen, feed intake, egg production and quality analysis of eggs (egg weight, yolk weight, and clear shell and yolk percentage, clear and bark , Haugh unit and height of the light). The treatments did not differ for the different parameters of growth performance and the egg quality parameters, for the second cycle differed from the color of the light weight, yolk and shell this can be due to age of the birds. And to test shelf differed egg weight, and there was a decrease in weight and percentage of clear and an increase in weight and percentage of yolk, that according to the literature is due to the storage time, temperature, relative humidity, porosity of the shell, migration and evaporation of water from clear to the yolk. One of the reasons for the prebiotic not been effective is that he has not been exposed to challenges, because the intestinal tract of birds were in good condition, as they had neither a change in its development, and these differences in quality was due to be storage period of eggs and age of the bird. |
