The objective of this project was to study the influence of the arboreal element of silvipastoral systems on the quality of Tifton-85 (Cynodon spp.). The experiment was carried out in the Southwest region of the State of Paraná, in the municipality of Saudade do Iguaçu, in the Condomínio Pizzolatto property. The same account has 10.2 hectares of silvopastoral system implanted nine years ago, composed by Tifton 85 and trees of the species Grevíllea robusta. The spacing of the arboreal element is 18 meters between rows and 6 meters between trees. The evaluations were carried out monthly for a period of one year. Sampling was performed randomly within the tree bark. To evaluate the influence of the tree system on the nutritional quality of forages, two areas were defined. For each area, two pickets of approximately 0.2 ha each were chosen, the variable evaluated was the bromatological composition of Tifton-85 on the influence of the arboreal element. The samplings were carried out in a random manner, using iron squares of 0.25 m 2, and exclusion cages. Samples were collected inside the cages, in a laboratory evaluated the parameters of bromatological composition of Cynodon spp. cv. Tifton-85 by determination of crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber and lignin. Variation in Tifton-85 bromatological composition was observed in the arrangement of the trees east / west compared to the north / south direction in the summer and winter seasons. Raising crude protein levels and reducing FDN levels. |
