Animals in thermal imbalance tend to waste time searching for their balance and less time grazing. The goal of this study is define the best level of artificial shade for sheep breeds in different levels of artificial shade. The used treatments were 0%, 25%, 50% e 75% containing four animals in each treatment amounting sixteen animals whereas all animals went through all treatments, for this were performed four managements during 24 hours and measured the body temperature over three days in three different schedules. The experimental design for average temperature will be the latin square with four treatments and sixteen repetitions submitted to Tukey test at 5% tolerance the management dates will be subject to bayesian analysis. A ovinocultura assim como as demais criações extensivas tem deixado a desejar sob o ponto de vista de conforto térmico animal. Animais em desequilíbrio térmico tendem a perder mais tempo em busca do seu equilíbrio e menor tempo pastejando. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo definir o melhor nível de sombreamento artificial para ovinos deslanados em diferentes níveis de sombreamento artificial. Os tratamentos utilizados foram deferentes níveis de sombreamento artificial sendo 0%, 25%, 50% e 75% com quatro animais em cada tratamento, totalizando dezesseis animais, sendo que todos passaram por todos os tratamentos. Para tal foram realizados quatro comportamentos por 24 horas. O delineamento experimental utilizado para os dados o de quadrado latino com quatro tratamentos e dezesseis repetições, submetidos a analise bifatorial, teste F e teste de Tukey a 5% de tolerância.
