The conservation of the quality of water resources is indispensable because it is used in various activities, especially for human supply. This study aimed to evaluate the quality of source water in rural property located in the city of Realeza-Paraná. The parameters analyzed were: hydrogenation potential (pH), temperature, turbidity, chemical oxygen demand (COD), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), most probable number (MPN) of total and thermotolerant coliforms and ecotoxicological tests with Artemia salina sp and Allium cepa (onion). The samples were collected over a period of three months at the same sampling point. The mean of the BOD analyzes prevailed with the value of 3.25 mg / L, total coliforms and thermotolerant were found in all samples analyzed, these parameters showed results discordant to that allowed by the current legislation. Ecotoxicological analyzes with Artemia salina sp. presented significant differences in relation to the negative control, and with the Allium cepa had no cytotoxic potential and no mutagenic activity. |
