Along with population growth comes the increased demand for food and water. As a result of their use, are generated various types of waste, and these must receive the treatment and/or proper disposal. However, not only the urbanized centers feel such effects, but also the countryside sector, mostly the small properties. Through this work it was aimed to propose an alternative for the treatment domestic wastewater generated at a country estate, besides indicating the application of treated wastewater as bio-fertilizer for growth of maize and soybean. For this, were carried out the samples collection to before and after treatment septic biodigester tanks, to realize physical-chemical, nutrient and microbiological analysis, thereby verifying the efficiency of the treatment and nutrient content in wastewater after treatment. With these data, were calculated the dosages for the application of sewage as biofertilizer in addition to chemical fertilizer used for maize and soybeans. Therefore, it is concluded that the treated wastewater by septic biodigester tank can be applied to land where want to cultivate monocultures of maize and soybeans, if a post-treatment is carried out to remove pathogenic microorganisms. However, considering the concentrations of nutrients present in sewage, the volume used would be impractical for a small property, due to the high efficiency of biodigester Septic for physic-chemical parameters and nutrients. |
