Resumo: One of the biggest difficulties of the petrochemical industry today is the logistics of transporting their raw materials and products, because they are always depending on the means of transport available, often do not consist of the best or the cheapest. In Brazil, the transportation of goods is mostly road, however, for de petrochemical industry, this is among the most unfavorable modes of transport, since, the distances of deliveries and the volumes transported by them are significantly larger than many other industries. The pipeline transport is one of the most advantageous for the transport of gases and liquids, with a lower accident rate, a lower operating cost, and the ability to transport large volumes over long distances. However, its price is relatively high compared to other modes of transport. In the view of the facts presented, in the present work it was proposed the construction of some oil pipelines in Brazilian territory, with the aid of the optimization software General Algebraic Modeling System (GAMS), find which pipelines would have a greater financial return to the country, and identify opportunities of investment in Brazilian pipeline network.
