Resumo: The high rate of traffic accidents in Brazil, involving and often victimizing children, is very worrying. Aiming to guide and consequently reduce the number of accidents, by providing information on the traffic signs for the fourth child and fifth grade of elementary school, in which age group are the highest rates of accidents, especially road kill, was developed an educational game using Scratch tool, which were discussed the most common and important traffic signals for the reality of a child with age between 9 and 11 years. The developed activity was divided into an explanatory part, a game with questions and answers about what was seen in the first phase, and a third party that serves as an example to introduce children to programming with Scratch.
