Resumo: As result of the necessity of efficient use of energy, evolve the knowledges about the ways to store it is crucial. For certain cases, the utilization of phase change material is a solution that have been trying to become viable. This work has as its objective find an analytical solution for a heat conduction problem through a one-dimensional wall, which is found among a steady temperature and another with periodic variance. This solution being obtained by Duhamel’s Theorem and compared to other already developed based in a solution of stable periodic problems, it became possible the check of the equivalency amongst the solutions, as well as the practicalities and limitations existent in the methods.
