The present work deals with the structural design and optimization of a specific rear suspension system for the first prototype of the Fenris Baja SAE team located in UTFPR campus Guarapuava . Optimization in general has a growing demand in all engineering branches, especially in the automobile industry due to the importance of specific parts weight reducing and their direct impact on the vehicle dynamics. This work was developed by the quantitative analysis and data acquisition of the Tri Link suspension, kinematic, dynamic sizing and optimization of the elements using the software SolidWorks, Adams Car and Ansys. |
